Nothing lifts spirits more than holding adorable puppies. In fact, when fur babies are involved, your date almost seems irrelevant! Take a day to entertain pups who need a home. If your heart is really bursting at the end of the day, adopt one on the cuties.

Flex your culinary muscles and learn how to make an exquisite meal for you and your boo tasting everything along the way!
Bookstore swapping
One of my favorite date night ideas is a trip to the bookstore. Purchase your favorite book for him + let him buy his favorite book for you. Read until your heart is content. Book reading may seem lame, but sometimes just being in the presence of one of your favorite people is enough. This also gives you a peek inside his personality. Ask some follow-up questions to see why he chose that book and what it means to him.

There is so much knowledge to be shared in a garden setting. Read about the agriculture and take a few pictures for the gram along the way. Try out your best foreign accent and read-aloud for all to hear.
Pottery class
Do not be afraid to dress it down! Rock your best overalls and enjoy a pottery class. Make each other pot or vases and giggle at how lumpy they are. Who knows? If you fall in love with the artwork process, you two could make it a regular tradition.
