ABC: March
Welcome back to Aneissa’s Book Club! We’re closing the month of March with a phenomenal read. High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard. This book is universal for anyone in any stage of life. This is more than building a brand or growing a business; this book teaches you how to gain perspective as a person and develop as an individual. The novel provides six easily obtainable high-performance habits to succeed in everything you do. From intern to CEO, pastor to saint we all could be doing more to be our best self and the author shows us how with a small list of high-performance habits conveniently nicknamed HP6:
Seek Clarity
Generate Energy
Raise Necessity
Increase Productivity
Develop Influence
Demonstrate Courage
Those steps seem simple, but they all have counter instructions to make you the best version of you. This book is exceptionally intentional, and with two decades of experience, Brendon Burchard has saved us twenty years and countless failed lessons to give us the key to unlock our full potential. I give this book four stars, I appreciate all of the content, but it was overwhelming. I will definitely have to read it multiple times to soak up all the material and sincerely digest the content. Overall this is an incredible novel, and I recommend this for anyone who wants to wants to better their lives. Aneissa's Book Club book of the month for April is titled Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan For Embracing and Achieving Your Goals by Rachel Hollis.
Rachel Hollis has quickly become one of my favorite authors and podcast hosts. Wife, mother of three, and multimillionaire boss babe; Rachel is a humongous ray of sunshine, and the cheerleader never knew I needed, I haven't even read Girl Stop Apologizing, and I already know I am going to love it. The book review for Rachel's novel will be here (in the About tab content) on Monday, April 29, 2019!
