It is no secret that to some, January feels like the longest month of the year. I blame the hustle + bustle of the Holidays, but this opportunity could be a blessing in disguise. January is the Monday of the year. It is a fresh opportunity and a chance to solidify those resolutions and establish a baseline with your word of the year. The easiest way to follow through with a "resolution" is to make it a lifestyle change. Stick to these free ways to refresh your outlook and develop a healthier, happier lifestyle.


  1. Unfollow anyone who makes you anything other than inspired on social media

  2. Wash your linen twice a month 

  3. Cultivate a signature dish 

  4. Research + stick to (at least one) overall daily vitamin

  5. Travel alone regularly if financially possible

  6. Keep healthy snacks in your purse and vehicle 

  7. Eliminate screen time approximately 60 minutes before bed

  8. Understand your reasoning behind every no answer you give, but do not feel obligated to share

  9. Check-in with the people closest to you via phone call once a month 

  10. Add new songs to your playlist every quarter 

  11. Delete phone apps you no longer use

  12. Sell clothing you no longer wear 

  13. Make time to read one book each month 

  14. Drink a full glass of water 30 minutes before and after every meal 

  15. Treat yourself to something under $30.00 once a month 

  16. Be specific about every single thing you want

  17. Incorporate music in everything you do at home skincare, shower, reading, etc 

  18. Never let your gasoline reach below 1/4 of a tank 

  19. Limit soda + high-calorie drinks 

  20. Establish three things you are grateful for every morning
