Thrive For The Lord
Many Christians claim to live for The Lord; not many thrive in their relationship with Him. We as a church body must open ourselves up as vessels for the Lord to flow through, not chess pieces for The Lord to move. To thrive for The Lord means you must go the extra mile and strive for excellence in every compartment of life.
Love your enemy
Proverbs 25:21-22
(V 21) If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
(V 22) For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee
Avoid quarreling
Proverbs 25:24
(V 23) But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
(V 24) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
Exhibit self-control
Galatians 5: 22-26
(V22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(V 23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(V 24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(V 25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(V 26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Avoid distractions
Ezekiel 18:27
Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
