Apple Pear Cider
With cooler temperatures around the corner, apple-pear fruit cider is the perfect way to kick off any chilly evening. This nontraditional drink is sure to get the Holiday party started. Sweet flavors and bold spices come together to make a delicious blend. Sip, sip, hooray!

Total Time: 4 hours and 10 minutes
Yields: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 gallon apple juice
- 1/2 gallon pear juice
- 6 Medium apples
- 6 Medium pears
- 2 Oranges
- 1/2 Cup brown sugar
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 Whole nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp whole cloves
Directions:
- Wash and dry apples, pears, and oranges
- Slice apples, pears, and oranges into four even large parts
- Place in crockpot and cover with apple and pear juice
- Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and whole cloves.
- Incorporate and cook the mixture on low for 4 hours
- When done, strain the mixture through a sieve and discard fruit (optional)
