Slow-Cooker Mississippi Chuck Roast

Oh how we adore the low-maintenance convenience of the crockpot! This Mississippi Roast meal is not only super easy to prepare, but it is also delicious and perfect for meal prep! Try MS Roast for your next throw + go dinner.   


Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 hours 

Total Time: 8 hours + 10 minutes 


Ingredients: 

  • 3 lb Chuck Roast 

  • 1 stick of salted butter

  • 8 pepperoncini peppers 

  • 1 packet of au jus gravy packet mix 

  • 1 packet of ranch dressing 

  • 2 tbs olive oil 

  • salt + pepper to taste 


Directions: 

Can we talk about easy? 

  • Place the chuck roast into the slow cooker

  • Add the butter

  • Add the pepperoncinis and half of the jar juice

  • Add the au jus gravy packet

  • Add the ranch dressing mix

  • Add the olive oil

  • Cook on low for eight hours


Bam, you are done! It really is that simple. Pair this scrumptious roast with rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite side carbs for the perfect family meal.
